Integration.Life.Society.: The premiere of the trade and event fair for the disabled from 30 June - 3 July 2011 in Moscow was a resounding success
“Nothing is stronger than an idea whose time has come.“ (Victor Hugo) The truth behind this statement was clearly demonstrated by Integration.Life.Society., which took place from 30 June - 3 July 2011 at Moscow’s Krasnaya Presnya expocentre in cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf, Messe Düsseldorf Moscow and in a brand network with the international trade fair REHACARE. As the leading international exhibition for the rehabilitation and care sector, REHACARE offers those affected as well as experts from the sector the opportunity to find out the latest on innovative technical aids, care concepts and therapy at the Düsseldorf Trade Fair Centre each autumn. In 2002 Russia was the partner country at Messe Düsseldorf and attracted the attention of professionals in the field from around the world with its services and solutions. The name Integration.Life.Society. stands for a trade fair for people with disabilities and in need of care that is tailored to meet the needs of the Russian market.
Some 2,500 visitors came to find out about topics such as everyday aids, household and nutrition, personal care and hygiene, mobility, age-appropriate living, living and travelling, communication, building and living, security and surveillance systems, education, apprenticeship and in-service training, workplace and career, training, physiotherapy and ergotherapy, orthopaedic aids, nursing care and medical care, clothing, protective equipment, leisure, sports and recreation at the exhibition, which featured around 70 exhibitors and covered an area of over 3,000 square metres.

Your door opener to the Russian market:
Integration. Life. Society. 2011
There are over 13 million disabled people in the Russian Federation. However, only now has the situation of these people become a focus of interest. Many incidents, for example the success of the 2010 Paralympics team, have contributed to a change in attitude and policy. The interests of disabled people are also receiving much attention as part of the preparation for the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi.
What is particularly important: Government agencies are actively working on the topic and have already put the wheels in motion on major investment projects. For example, the city of Moscow is working on being barrier-free by 2020. There are enormous opportunities here, especially for foreign manufacturers and suppliers of suitable products.
In close collaboration and in a brand network with REHACARE International, Messe Düsseldorf is organising a new event in Moscow called Integration. Life. Society., which is perfectly coordinated to meet the Russian market‘s needs.
